Three Card Spread
A development of the Single Card Reading.
Three cards are laid out in a row. Reading from left to right, these represent the past, the present, and the future.
The centre card, the present, is the significator, and represents the querent at the present moment in time, in the same way as the card in a single card reading.
The card on the left, the past, represents past influences and circumstances of the querent, and may serve to clarify how the querent came to be in their current situation.
The card on the right, the future, shows likely future influences and events, and may give guidance to the querent as to possible future actions. Of course, any such action must be properly thought through by the querent, who always has complete free will and responsibility to make the appropriate choices for the best outcome.
