Single Card Reading
The simplest of readings. After shuffling and cutting the cards, deal one card, face up.
This card is the significator. It represents the querent, their current circumstances and the situation around them at the present time.
Study the card. Read its inner meaning, and try to see how it relates to the querent. Until you are thoroughly familiar with all the cards in the deck, you will probably need to refer to the descriptions given elsewhere on this website. From your study, begin to understand the circumstances and influences surrounding the querent, and try to see the options open for future action, or inaction. Remember that the cards rarely give definitive answers, only indications or tendencies; and they never predict the future. Future outcomes always depend on the actions of the individual, and the individual always has free will in the choice of those actions.
