Two of Coins

Minor Arcana

Two of Coins

High above the circus ring, with an enthralled crowd of spectators, Ted boldly and artfully walks the tightrope while balancing two coins. This image could be interpreted in a mundane manner as taking care to balance personal finances, but could also mean balancing internal conflicts of iunterest that may arise out of one’s spiritual or emotional life.

Around his waist, Ted wears a belt in the form of the Ouroboros, a snake eating its own tail. This is a symbol of eternity, and in particular the eternity of change in the Universe, with new things coming constantly into being as others pass away.

Divination

Balance, but slightly precarious. Fluctuation and uncertainty, in matters of either worldly or emotional wealth. Coping with the situation, juggling with finances or relationships. A critical time, especially if balance has been neglected in the past. Change may be about to happen – indeed it may need to happen – but there is need for caution.
