The World

Ted dances exuberantly on the stage. The stage represents the physical world in which we live – “All the world’s a stage.” The blossoms of flourishing life surround the stage, while a curtain veils that which lies beyond.

Four shields represent the four elements, with their traditional colours and their associated mystical creatures: ox, lion, eagle, and man – although Ted insisted that the last figure should be drawn so that it could equally well represent a teddy bear.

Two spotlights suspended above the stage are positioned to form the symbol: ∞ . Properly known as the lemniscate, it is the mathematical symbol for infinity, representing the infinite possibilities of life. It also refers to the maxim of hermetic philosophy “As above, so below” – that which is on Earth reflects the nature of the heavenly realms, and equally the nature of Heaven reflects the condition of the Earth.

Divination

Completion, fulfilment, end of a personal cycle, start of a new one. Achievement of personal balance, fully rounded and integrated personailty, together with a sense of satisfaction in its accomplishment. Successful completion of a project, freedom to start a new one. Opportunity to make a life move in any desired direction, with a promise of success. Travel, or a change of home, may be involved.
